What is cbd?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found within cannabis and hemp plants that has become associated with many medical benefits, without substantial psychoactive effects. CBD can be found or extracted from both hemp and marijuana plants and has been deemed beneficial by the FDA only for epilepsy. While this is the only official use, it proves that CBD does indeed have medicinal benefits.
“it is non intoxicating, but exerts a number of beneficial pharmacological effects. For instance, it is anxiolytic, anti-inflammatory, antiemetic, and antipsychotic. Moreover, neuroprotective properties have been shown.” Source
